About me
I am an experienced and passionate mathematics and physics teacher dedicated to fostering positive outcomes for students. With an education in one of the most prestigious universities in Turkey - METU , in a double major of Computer Engineering and Philosophy, I have been providing engaging and inspiring instruction to K-12 students in subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, Computer Science, Business/Management and Biology since 2013. After finding success in my hometown of Ankara, Turkey, I moved to Canada, and founded CS Tutoring in Toronto. During my 5 years of working in Toronto, I have taught more than 60 students in the major subjects, helped them through their assignments and exams, and prepared them for a future in university. Most of my students continued working for me through university, and after moving to Ottawa, I have continued teaching my students in both in-person and online capacity.
My skills in curriculum development, online teaching platforms, gamification strategies, and classroom management, combined with my ability to mentor and consult, make me a versatile and effective educator. Fluent in English and Turkish, with a beginner's proficiency in French, I am dedicated to supporting students' academic and personal growth.
I also offer guidance and consulting services to university applicants for Canada, the U.S., and the U.K., along with test preparation support for exams such as SAT, UCAT, MCAT, GMAT, IELTS, and TOEFL. My commitment to student achievement extends globally through collaborations with esteemed educational institutions.
